Gallon Grad Program
The Blood Center of Iowa would like to challenge all high school students to become Gallon Grads! Students can show their commitment to helping others in the community by donating one gallon of blood before they graduate from high school! Donors who participate in this program will need to make eight Whole Blood or four Double Red Cell donations before their high school graduation. Donors are encouraged to donate blood at their high school blood drives and at blood drives that take place in their community.
Students who achieve the Gallon Grad status will receive a personalized certificate of recognition from The Blood Center of Iowa. Students will also be publicly recognized when featured on The Blood Center’s web site.
